I bought last week. No one ever has to buy two weeks in a row.
As for getting older.............

dcetina, numbers go up every year. Last year there were probably 30-35 people scattered about.
Everybody else, I don't have a local event schedule, (it seems like somebody posted a link to the local event deal a while back) but I will be bringing information concerning the SOVREN Historics car corral.
See ya this weekend!

Events
There does not appear to be a single source for all PAC NW events. Here's the link to the earlier thread that has a few links to schedules.
Schedule of events for 2004
I'll bring some copies of the Les Schwab listing... it doesn't cover them all.
(Maybe the XXX Spring Opener on May 23rd for that pent-up demand??)

You guys rock!
I've got a good story for you fellas, and it's all because of your Red Hook gathering:
My wife knows I've been a BIG cobra fan for ages, and caters to my need to visit Park Place every so often to check out the Superformances there. Unbeknownst to me why (it's her birthday), my wife chose for us to eat lunch at the brewery and take the tour on Saturday. We show up yesterday around 12:15, and lo, there are about a dozen Cobras in the front parking lot! I damn near had a coronary on the spot! For the next 45 minutes the wife and I hung out, drank beers, and admired the collection while waiting for the tour to start. That's when she drops the bomb: she admits that she's really keen on Cobras, planned on coming to the brewery after hearing about this gathering on Citysearch, and that we should aim to purchase one later this year after we move to Woodinville!
Needless to say, I'm one incredibly happy guy. For something like this to happen (on her birthday no less) is unreal. Man, I love my wife!
sidenote: Brent Mills has been working with my wife over the past several months, so I strongly suspect his "Cobra influence" helped here.
Thanks for having this get-together guys! We're looking forward to joining your NW ranks soon!

Redhook
It was nice to meet other Cobra owners in the area. I'm looking forward to seeing more of the NW group as time goes by., nice bunch of people. One owner was planning on putting together a list of local owners, immediate Seattle area, for impromptu get togethers, which would be great, looking forward to that.
Congratulations to James, that is a great story, you have a terrific wife and something else you have is a lot of choices to make, so choose wisely grasshopper. But man what great choices, really fast, terribly fast, or oh my God! Have a ball. Again nice meeting you all. I'm the Portifino blue one.

That is one beautiful SPF--never saw a Portofino Blue other than swatches or pics. A head turner for sure

Red hook meeting
Greetings,
It was a pleasure meeting all of you at the last Red Hook gathering. I ( the young bald guy) was the one who tagged along with Jake.
Just an update...I am expecting the delivery of my FFR MKII on April 27th. It is going to be a father/son project. I look forward to seeing all of you again.

Jason, congratulations on your new project. The best part of the project will be working with your son, that will be a lifelong memory for the both of you, and you get a great car to boot. Good luck.

Actually I am the son. Yes, my father is the one with the hair. Life is not always fair, however; I got my grandfather's height while my father stands at 5'-3".
