Default Port Townsend 4/24 or 25

There is a car show/4wd event at Jeffco Fairgrounds in Port Townsend this coming weekend. We are thinking about going up from BI either Sat or Sun.

Any one interested in attending, weather permitting?

Gary, thanks for the invite; unfortunately, I'm sanding sheetrock mud Sunday morning and going to 2 b-day parties in the afternoon...one in Arlington and one in north Seattle.

...whee

It should be a go for us, just give us a time to meet up. Dennis will be down south but I think Steve will be up to it.

What's good for you guys? The event opens in PT at 9. Centeral Market in Poulsbo would be a good hook-up point for me. Know a neat little backroad from there to 303
There is a show and shine but I don't know the details. Looks like Sunday will be great.

Talking I Might Try

Please post the details once concluded. I might try to give it a go. Need to coordinate the ferry schedule and all, so will be looking for the meet-up times and places.

Ok lets say between 8 and 9 at Central Market in Poulsbo? Put us in PT around 10-10:30.

My phone number is 206-780-1989 home.

Zderf if coming from Seattle to BI you'd need to catch the 7:20 ferry, 8:10 at the latest and drive like all get out to Poulsbo or we could wait for you

Hey GR, I'm meeting Fred and Steve at the Silverdale Mall Mervyn's and then bringing them over to Central Market. How about we give the Federal Way and GiG Harbor folks an extra half hour, say 0930? That way nobody has to drive from BI to fast early in the morning. Call me at 360-779-3289 and we can link up.

Lightbulb What about Edmonds / Kingston?

Should I take the Edmonds - Kingston route, or is the Bainbrige/ Winslow one better?

Where in Poulsbo? Need EXACT details.

If you take the Kingston boat just take the hiway from the ferry terminal until you hit the "2nd", 4-way stoplight(haven't been that way in awhile so there maybe another 4 way stoplight now instead of a stop sign, just a couple of miles up the hi-way) you'll be on 305--turn left go aprox 1-1 1/2 mi you'll hit a 3-way stoplight, turn left Central Market is right there can't miss it. There'll be a church on your left at the light

If coming to BI just stay on the road straight out of the ferry terminal about 15 mi on 305(thats the road) you'll be in Poulsbo go thru 2- 4-way stoplights, at the 3rd light turn right--you'll see Central Market on your right, church on your left

Hey guys, I should see you guys up there. I had already committed to a Harley ride with some friends and they agreed that the show would be a fun destination to ride too. Plus, the pizza can't be beat down town.

See Ya there, Jake

Great time GR. Had so much fun had to drive the Cobra to work on Monday. Also finally got a decent day in the week to get over to the shop and get my side pipe bracket fixed. Need to get together more often, maybe this week-end somebody can find a Porsche rally to "muscle in" on. Jake, where in the Hell were you?All those Harleys look "alike".

Unhappy Sorry to miss

Sorry I missed you cats on Sunday. Was all set to come but had a surprise issue to deal with as the sun rose on Sunday morning.

Anyway, maybe next time.

Keith, Jakes Harley is one-of-a-kind. Have a look in his gallery.... if he was there, yawl'd seen him!

Best Personal Regards,

Zderf

Had a good time. we were glad to meet those that went.
After leaving Poulsbo for the trip home the water pump began howling, temp started rising, but we made it the few miles home without a problem.
Might be awhile before I get time to install a new one.
Real bummer--glad it didn't happen further from home

Keith, I was leaving the fairgrounds as you were arriving. I did talk to Fred for a second. Then I saw all you guys rumbling up and down the main street as we were eating lunch. Nothing like the sound of a gaggle of cobras to make everyone in town stop what they are doing and take note. You guys looked great!

Jake
