New to the Forum
Hello,
I am new to the fourm. I am really taken with the Superformance Coupe and am interested in making that happen. But with all of my ventures, I like to get involved in a group that knows what they are doing before I launch off into the "new and exciting." I was wondering if the NW has a club that meets regularly or if most things are done through the forum - meets, drives, etc.
Thanx!

Welcome to the madness!
There is a club called Norcal Cobras in Northern California, you can find them by going to the top of the screen and panning over Local Clubs.

Anything in the Tacoma/Seattle area (other than the BC Club)?
Or are most people in Washington State members of the BC Club?

There is the NW Cobra club click above on local clubs. I am also new, but I think most activities are posted on clubcobra.
Welcome to the club.

Meetings & Get-to-gethers
Coupecrazy,
There is not set meeting dates that I am aware of. Most of the meetings and gatherings are posted here at the NW forum. The group up in your area does quite a few things and are a great group of guys. We are obviously headed into the rainy season so things die off until next spring here in Oregon and Washington. Just bookmark the NW section and check back often. You never know when a nice day might prompt a spur of the moment adventrue!

Coupecrazy,
The guys here in the tacoma seattle area are GREAT. I was only able to make one run with them so far. But they treated me like they have known me for years. I highly recomend asking any question you have bought anything cobra in here. If one of these guys hasnt delt with it they know someone who has.
I get back from my deployment to sand land sometime in May June time frame. If you still havent got a cobra and I am running on a run I am willing to let you ride with me. I wont scare ya to much

Thanks guys! I have decided to make the plunge. I will have a new Superformance Coupe on order wihtin the next couple of weeks. John out of Reno is coming up to do all the paperwork with me the week before Christmas. I am having Woodz of Gearheadcity.com do the install so the coupe will be delivered in Ohio, then to the shop in Illinois. Once it's complete, I'll have it shipped out here. If all goes well, I should have it in time for the good weather - May/June. It just depends on when it gets to the US, etc. I am going with the Roush 402RC and the Tremec 6 Speed. I can't wait, but I'll have to!

I'm envious! Congrats on the coupe. Looking forward to seeing it "live".

Just to answer a few of the questions that I had when I entered the forum. I agree with Matt that the NW guys are a great group. The club is very informal and there are no meetings and no offices to be held. When you want to get together with everyone just make a post when and where and everyone else will chime in and you can gauge the interest level on the event. Everything does come to a halt for the most part in the winter do to the weather. Welcome to the club! Please give me a call some night if you want further details or just want to bench race. Great choice on the Brock Coupe....I sat in the one that Park Place had at the auto show a month ago and I can't stop thinking of it.
