NW Friends, you up for a road trip for a wester states gathering??
So far the voting has it in Reno, which seems like a good central location to me. Any of you up for a trip?

Depending upon my business schedule and the dates selected I'm up for it if we can caravan. Driving the car to Reno RT alone didn't sound like fun. Still doesn't if we have our typical rainy May.
But what the heck it'll be fun with others along.

Brent,
Patti and would love to go. However, the organizer doesn't have a date yet. Sometime things change after the first of the year to change our plans. I'd expect that I'd drive by myself and she would fly.
As we get closer to a date and the actual plans are fleshed out there many be more interests here in the NW. As you know the NWCC'ers don't use their computers until the sun comes out again.

Rainman
Rich,
Not to worry, it only rains or should I say pours when Bish plans an event, so we should be safe !
We had great weather on the coast run when Fred planned it.

Once we get east of the mountains, it'll all be good. Maybe Bish could meet us there.

The Bishmeister and I have been noodling an idea that oddly enough, involves Reno. We were thinking of driving down for the air races in mid-sept. That date is probably too late for what you have planned but I want to throw it out anyway. Bend is about half way between Seattle and Reno and would make a good way spot. I'm meeting with my "Roswell" builder next week and will see what it will take to get the car operational in time. Think it over guys,,, P51's and Cobras (and a modified Healey)... 3 of my favorite things in life.
Cheers!
Waldo
Kieth... I thought you died!

We could be up for it but I'm like the rest I need a FIRM date.
My suggestion is for ONE person in each club to head this up, it would be a lot easier to stay on the same page. I am still trying to set up a trip to Libby Montana from the 18th to 24st of Aug. I am also planning on retiring in Sept, Setting up a place here and one in AZ. Our plans are to have the summers here and the winters there So you can see my plate is full so some one else needs to step up to the plate.

Brent,
I hate to tell you this, but on the Boise run a couple of years back, the rain turned to snow once we got east of the mountains.
Maybe if I trade cars with someone............

Gary
Like I stated in my first post we really need to have one person try and track all the info and try and set up a plan. If its planned for the 20 & 21 when would we try and leave here, where are the stop overs, places to stay, does every one just plan for them selves. What are the plans for coming back.

Fred,
Sorry to butt in on your forum like this, but I have room for three or four trucks and trailers if any of the Washington or Oregon guys want to haul their cars down to here and drive from here. Also I think I could find some more places that pickups and trailers could be left for a few days if needed.
