Default 2nd Annual Run to Mt. Rainier/Open House

My summer events are starting to already fill my day planner. So I figured it was time to pick a date for the 2nd annual Run to Mt. Rainier. The date is July 31st. My plan is to have everyone meet at my place in Puyallup at around 9:30am and head up to Eatonville (bathroom break.) Then back on the road and head for Paradise for lunch. You can pack a lunch or eat at the lodge. Then we will head around the backside of the mountain and end up back at the Greger house. I will supply the burgers, dogs, and pop. I would just ask for everyone to bring a small side dish (your choice.)
I will be praying for sun this year! Thanks again for the great showing last year (I think we had 18 cobras...and that was with bad weather.) Please RSVP with a post or a phone call, so I know how much food to get. I know it is a bit early, but I want a even bigger turn out this year!

P.S. If anyone has a picture of all the cars parked in the driveway from last years run, please feel free to post them.

Thanks, Jake

Sorry I can't make it this year guys, last year was fun even with the bad weather. I'll be in CA at that time.

Carman,
With race season here my weekends are pretty much taken, you might have to be my cobra driver this summer so the car can get some road time. I will make it to the PIR historics though.

Fred, you are correct about the drop date. Just got back from the hospital for a bit. Dane was born yesterday (on 4-27.) How cool is that for a 427 cobra owner. He is 9lbs. 1oz. and 21.5 in. long. All is well and mom and him are doing great!

Jake & Kim

Congratulation on the Birth of your Son. Glad to hear Mom and Baby are doing fine. The day you decide to give him his first ride let us know so we can all get in line. Being born on 427 he will always have a BB.

Well folks,

We are only about a month out from the run to the mountain. Just a reminder to secure the day on your calendars and RSVP.

Thanks, Jake

Jake, congratulations on the new addition. I would have to leave by the 27 of July to make that date so I guess I'll be a No Show. Well at least I won't get rained on this year because the car is still in Ohio getting an autopsy. Hope you have a big turnout like last year and be sure to carry some extra parts like fan belts, motor mount bolts etc.. and oh yeah, umbrellas. Take care and give your bride and newest family member our best

Keith

Jake

We are still in we will just bring up the rear in the other plastic car. The motor is being sent to Tom at Fe Specialties for a complete tear down and he will start with a whole new bottom end and use all the bolt ons from my old "Y" Block. Might even have a few goodies added while its there. We are trying for the first week in Aug for the reinstall.

Default Rain?

Keith,

I am not going to make any promises on the weather or it will rain for sure. That being said, I have it on good authority with the man upstairs that the sun will shine down on us.
