5 unfinished kirkhams for sale in Portland on ebay
I was on ebay the other night and someone named Jerry had 5 Kirkham cobras (unfinished) that he was selling one at a time. Was in some serious litagation with Kirkham and is now cutting his losses I guess. Anyone know this guy?

He's not in Portland. Actually, I believe he is located in North Bend. Might be worth a drive down there to see his stash of cars. Noticed his last couple didn't make reserve.
Anybody up for a road trip?

Ouch......thanks for the feedback there Scott S....lots of locked threads on that search. Nonetheless, is there a good deal to be made with Jerry on one of his Kirkhams? I'd be in way over my head getting one but a little guy needs to dream about having a big dog and getting off the porch.

I'd be careful, very careful and do some research before putting $$ on the line. A lot of bad blood there. Placing no blame anywhere...just be wary before you make any type of offer on any of the cars for sale
Just my opinon

If you look at his pictures and at the thread he was involved in about his "situation" with the Kirkhams, you'll see the cars are actually very complete. Just a few small items needed to complete the chassis and the drivetrain. I believe the even have the rear suspension and differential/axles included.
I'd sure like to know what his reserve is!

He has had these up for sale at least twice and hasn't sold any yet.

Heed G.R.'s warning.
Auction was more editorial than sale.

Jerry, in Oregon, is a good guy. I purchased his 1965 Shelby GT350 Mustang back in 1998 (over the phone and I inspected personally) and was happy with the condition and price. He was very straight and fair with me and followed through all the way. I also have a friend in Arizona who purchased an unrestored CSX 2000 Shelby Cobra from him for a great price. I'm sure he would welcome anyone who wanted to inspect his Kirkham built Cobras before they buy one from him.

Houston....we have begun a countdown to closure.....10....9....8...
Actually, re-reading some of the cat fights was kind of fun; in a sick gotta-watch-the-train-wreck kinda way.
And whatever happened to Ernie?
