Default Run to Sunrise

Weather permitting, Eileen and I are going to take the Cobra up to Sunrise at Mt. Rainier on Sunday the 16th and photograph the alpine flowers. On the way back were going to stop at Copper Creek for lunch. Care to join us. If so we can meet at 9:00AM in the Albertson’s lot at 160th St. E and Meridian or the scale house at 226th and SR 7 (Mountain Hwy.) whichever is most convenient. Let me know if there is any interest.

Steve,

I would love to take the run with you guys, but it is the Goodguys Rod and Custom show this weekend. We have friends and family coming in from out of town to partake in the event. Maybe next time

What a great day; 220 miles, 34 bugs on the windshield, the best beer and burger at the Greenwater Tavern and some of the best scenery in the world.
We noticed two other Cobras in Greenwater heading east around 10:30 and spotted them again at the turn off to Sunrise. We never did get a chance to meet them.

Can't wait for the run to St. Helens!

Steve

That was myself and Steve T. We made the trip up to Sunrise and then on over to Naches for a milkshake, back up to Packwood took the skate creek road over to Eatonville for pie and then on home. 300 miles for a milkshake and pie. Could not have asked for better weather and scenery.
