Front plates in Wa.

If your car is registered as a 1965, 66, 67 etc. this may be a way around having a front plate. I found this while searching the Wa. State DOL web site.

Restored license plates:
are good for the life of vehicle.
are not required to display month/year tab.
are not renewed annually.
must be displayed on the rear of the vehicle. If you provide a set of plates, you may display one on the front and the other on the back of the vehicle.

I'll keep a copy of that page in the glove box once I'm on the road. Here's my plate.

How did you get this Cobra thru as 1965.?

When I got my Classic Plates (registered it as a 65), they only gave me a rear plate.
