Default Sat. Nov. 3rd Run

I am finally ready to commit to pulling the cover off the Cobra and spending some of my hard earned money on some gas, before it hits $5.00 a gallon. . I have not come up with an exact route yet, however I am sure to incorporate some of the finest curvy roads in the area into the drive. I am thinking of a start time of around noon....so it can warm up a little bit. I am also thinking of a 2-3+ hour drive. We can meet at my place if that works out for those who are interested.
I must admit I am a little scared of the after event editorials that have been flowing which are full of bovine excriment . I have never had as many laugh out loud moments reading CC posts as I have in the past couple of days. Anyway, sing out if you are up for a drive!

Jake

As always weather will be the deciding factor. Fred will go if Jim promises not to look at him with those goggles of his.

Maybe I will just lag behind Jim and just see what that polished mass will do. He may have a hard time breathing since My dual Holly High Domes need so much air to run. "If it don't go Chrome it" is that you new motto Jim?

Fred, I'm thinking! .OH....I thought one of those carbs was for your motor and one was for you, WINDBAG!!!!!..................................I think you just asked me to chrome your car is that correct? I'll have to dunk the whole darn thing I think. Last week I was fourth in line and no place to pass. That is not an excuse, I'm just making a way out for you if you want to take it! Back me up Steve (please!) Remember what our uncle told us before he sent us home to Dad. I'll let you have my WWWll Flying Ace hat that you wanted so bad when we were kids. Plus you can twirl my cobra key chain ! WHOOPS! I think I just let the cat out of the bag, Well it is better for you than me Bro!

I can not make the run Saturday, my daughter is graduating from US Army basic training this Friday in Missouri. She wants to be a nurse like her sister so she decided to join the Army National Guard to help with her training. Need to be their for her.
Sunday is fine or next week for me.
Jim

Bout time you had the time to blow the cobwebs out of her Jake.
I'm definitely in but weather could be a problem. At this point, they are calling for partly cloudy so I hope it holds.

Steve.
Where in my post did I say I didn't like the Ace Hat. I just said it the gogles looked strange on Jim.
The weather may be iffy this weekend.

I will not be able to make the Sat. November 3rd run. The Washington Arms Collector's gun show (the mother of all gun shows) starts that day at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. If the weather holds have a great run.

Jake......keep at least two cars between Jim and Fred.

The weather does look iffy. I will make a final call by 10AM if the run will be a go or not. Looks like jst myself, Fred, and Jim at this point.

Looks like the weather will be so-so on Sat. Only a possible shower or two in the afternoon. Looks like Sunday is the better day. Which day should we go?

Ray,
I already have plans on Sunday that I can't change. We will wait and see what happens with the weather.

MadDog,
I think we will give it a go at this point. The weather looks like it is going to stay north of Seattle. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Everything is dry here in Puyallup at this point. As to your question, 12 noon at my place.

It turns out it was just Ray and I on the run and the weather was outstanding. We actually had sun on most of the ride. It was great to get the car out and let her breathe. Thanks for coming out Ray!
