Default The first best day of the year

What a awesome day!
Thanks Jim and Steve for the great run today. The weather couldn't have been any better. Thank you Steve for the beers at the pub and thanks Jim for the great run to the exotic car place in Bothell.
And I do believe THAT was a burnout!!

I got the lawn mowed and went out to pick up a auto repair manual that had been left at a friends house. First outing for my beast this year. Started with a 1/4 tank and everytime I pushed the loud pedal the needle on the meter fell downwards and didn't come back even a little. I got stuck in in traffic during the power outage in Lakewood. I was in an allmost continous line of traffic from one nonworking traffic light to the next. The first operating light at S74th and Lakwood drive, I went through the intersection and merged into the right lane to make a right hand turn in a few blocks only to find I had merged into a funeral proscession. Wish I had been with you instead.
They forcast the weather. Does anyone forcast gasoline prices going up or down even a few cents? I'd like to be the guy that buys a tank full just before it goes up. A four cent hike cost me a buck. Usually I'm the guy that buys a tank full in the morning and then the pump price goes down that afternoon.

We had one of those days in Texas today. Took a run down to Galveston for brunch and fun with friends.

Man, it was nice. I put 200 miles on mine here in the Dallas area this weekend. We get about 10 sunny, warm and low humidity days a year down here, and this weekend we had two in a row!!
