That oughta get some attention. I came upon the web site for XXX Root Beer in Issaquah, WA ( http://www.triplexrootbeer.com/). From the site it looks like if might be a good place (but then again I thought both enlisting in the Army and getting married would be fun). Saw on their schedule their Spring Opener is at 8am on 5/8 and thinking about going if it isn't snowing. Wondering if anyone has been there before and if it's worth the trip. Looks like at the worst I'd just eat a bunch of hamburgers, fries and milk shakes so I guess there isn't a real down-side.

Actually, my friend, it damn near got your ass banned since we're in the midst of fighting spammers. Thankfully, I read your post first.

They have a number of shows there a year and the turnout is usually good. Like you said, burgers, fries and shakes......can't loose.

I wonder if Shelby knows he has a salad named after him? The 49 Woody burger really sounds good.
Speaking of cruises and car shows, every other Saturday Lenoir, NC opend the center of town for a cruise. Attendance varies between 300 and 500 cars. Not the same as the XXX, but it's a shorter drive for me.

One correction. It's May 18th, not the 8th.
Looks like fun, as long as the weather is okay.

Depending on the weather, it sounds like a good time to get the Cobra out for a day. How much interest is there in going as a group?

If I am in town, I would go. It is just 5miles from my house and a great venue, particularly at the events they have later in the summer.

If the weather is good and you want a place to park your car , be there by 7:am . the Spring Opener is a very popular car show. People will sleep in there car to get a spot.Hot Rod drive-in great food.

I will also be out for this one, as I will be taking my first trip down to WSCB. Hopefully I can keep the car in one piece for the summer festivities!

As I am about 8 miles away, I go there frequently during the summer. They have a cruise-in every Saturday, weather pending, which is usually pretty fun. I believe the June 29th downtown cruise is one of the bigger shows they have, but I am not sure. I will be in for the May 18th show, weather permitting of course
