Just be sure to Velcro them in place.

I'm in the market for floor mats aslo. I have an older Everett Morrison. The clutch and brake pedals come up from the floor.
the accelerater pedal is hindged from the from the side of the foot box and is not a concern with floor mat. I noticed that Finishline has specified that ''only fits '' this or that. I'm kinda looking for nice floor matsare made to fit or that can be altered . I'm using carpet runners and they shift and bunch up.

I got my Ford Racing mats at auto zone and trimmed them to fit with scissors.

California Car Covers - the best! Custom made/fit, berber.... won't bunch-up like a beach towel the way so many of these others will.
http://calcarcover.com/ You will need to give them a call and explain what you want.

Another approach is to glue the heavy plastic runners having cleats to the back of the carpet floor mats. A local shop when making custom sizes then sews the binding to include both the carpet and the plastic runner material

S.Back, do you really have to have a plate in the front of the car ? And if so, where/how do you attache it ?

When I bought the car it had a front plate. Removed it the first night I bought it.
Here are a couple crappy pictures that the dealer took.
The bracket hooked into the struts that support the bumper, and then another bracket went behind the turn signal lense.
If I don't have to work this Sunday I will go through the reciepts and see if I can find where it came from.

You say you removed it ???
Are you saying that the law will slide and let you get by with just a back plate ?

There have been a number of vehicles that I have owned that did not have a front plate. No tickets so far.

WA State requires a front and rear license plate 99%of the time. Exceptions are made for certain collector vehicles with collector plates. Most of us do not have the front plate installed however we know it's a violation. I am not aware of anyone being cited for not having the plate installed. If you are looking for a front plate bracket try this link:

Don't use them
I have a FFR with a dropped foot box. I removed the carpeting in the dropped area, since it would not stay put and could pose a hazard to driving per other posts. I added polished diamond plate to the dropped area only. Retained the carpet on the higher area. It works great and most people do not notice it anyway.

I traced out the floor mats on heavy paper and sent them to Quality car matts - www.qualitycarmats.com
Talked to a fellow named Rick and he did them for me in black berber and quietly included the Cobra laughing snake logo. Give him a call. I'm very happy with them. Also look at clips to hold them in place. The backside is supposed to be non-slip but they do anyway without the clips.
