I AM BACK!!!!! (sort of)
Well the kid is back in the cobra world once again!!! Well sort of
I am working on a Everett Morrison for a friend of mine. Well I guess I should call him a customer now. The car is a very early kit. He had Art Morison work the frame and Buffalo restoration put in a 427 side oiler, tremic t5, ford 9' with 410 gears, wilwood disks on all corners, flaming river steering.
Now I get to wire it, install the radiator then all the finishing work.
So when it is done it looks like I will get me another one.
It is good to be back!!!!!

i have been going thru parts and it dont look good at all
Buffalo really screwed him over!!!! He is missing a ton of parts. But if you know of anyone building a 49 plymouth let me know. I have parts for that.
So far I am missing
pass side door latch
both door strikers
all badges
trunk handle
hood handles
those are the main things i know he had since they were part of the stuff I dropped off.
I tell you what if anyone wants to take a car to buffalo come look at this one.
very very poor work.

Welcome back Matt. I just finished my Cobra last week. It's all your fault for letting me ride up to St. Helens in yours.

good to hear about your car Jim.
This one will take some time to get all the little things fixed. I have till October to get it ready to be shipped to Miami so it will be a challange.

Jim,
That would be great! I will have to give you something for them. Since I am getting paid to work on it and its not my car so it just wouldnt be right.
I would like to get the owner to look at your car so he knows what he is in for.
LOL
I must say this kit is well built. The doors, hood and trunk are solid to say the least.

Everett Morrison was at one time one of the most expensive and best kits of all. I do not know about their kits today. I am very satisfied with the quality and workmanship of mine.

Matt,
Glad your back, I almost always have a open seat if you want a ride. Jim did a super job on his Cobra, and now I have someone to run with over here. Does anyone want to make a run like we did last year? Is ANYONE
going out to Kent on the 4th.

Steve,
That was the real Andy. My car is done and I'm ready to roll. Since the other Jim hasn't replied, I think you're right about the meds. Maybe we should all go visit him at Puget Sound Hospital.

You have made some quick progress. When you cleaned up my power steering pulley it look like you had quite a bit to do before completion. If your ready to roll you might consider the P.C. Sheriff's 6th annual motorcycle run to Hood River. A number of Cobras are going including Jim if he can stay on his meds. See my post on 3-24-08
