Mike,

The run is just a report on how much HP and torque the engine is producing at certain rpms.

The dyno tune is a tune-up to get maximun engine performance. The tech will adjust, as needed, the carb jets, floats and A/F ratio and ignition timing for peak output.

Check out the Horsepower Ranch. We took Nate's car there to get tuned and he had 6 or 7 Vipers the day before. John's very knowledgeable and very nice.

Info from the Carb Connection:

Dyno run and diagnostic: $75.00.

Tuning will be charged at $125.00 per hour at 30 minute intervals. If your car only requires a timing adjustment that takes a minute you will be charged just the base $75.00. If you require jet changes, distributor re-curve, etc you will be charged $125.00 per hour at the 30 minute interval. I need to know how many are interested. We can reserve Saturday the 25th of July for our group. If that does not work let me know and we can shoot for another Saturday.

If you were to just show up as an individual for the Dyno tune, the cost would be $75.00 + tune time at 125.00 per hour at hourly intervals.

Hello Steve,

I'm going to be out of town that weekend, so I won't be available. But don't let that change your plans. I'm probably going to be working every weekend until that time.

Besides, you guys probably won't want a big block to crash the party.

I don't need to run again but will go to watch. Should be fun.
Steve, maybe we can go over to that watering hole we went to last time and tip a couple.

Apparently interest over a group dyno tune has dissipated. I have notified Carb Connection that we will not be there on the 25th.
