I'll stay in the background on these as I do have a slightly unfair advantage

I am going to start posting question earlier. I will try at 6:00 Pacific Time.
Tonights Question is on Cobra Advertizing;
Over the years Cobra based adds have been placed by Tire Companies, Fuel Companies, Rental Car Companies, and others.
Tonights Trivia question is taken from the back cover of :
Monterey Pacific Grand Prix at Laguna Seca Program
October 18-19-20, 1963
Question: In this 1963 add, what company advertized that they were the Worlds Largest Cobra Dealer?
If anyone would like to submit a trivia question to ask please send question and answer to
stormwaterllc@aol.com
Thank You
What famous car and driver is pictured in the add?
A picture of this program is shown on Page 70 of Shelby America Original Archives 1962-1963
Good Luck!

Sorry Jim your on your own. I'm not sure how you determine which reference material is correct. Logic would dictate that the material published closest to the date of the incident would be more accurate than one say 40 years after the fact. It's your game, your rules and your model.

Answer to question#3
On the back cover of the Monterey Pacific Grand Prix at Laguna Seca,
Coventry Motor Cars advertized themselves as being the World's Largest Cobra Dealer
The car and driver was none other than the the fantastic looking
Yellow # 98 cobra of Mr. Allen Grant. The paint design was created by Mr. George Lucus, Creator of Star Wars.
Tonight's Question is: What year, and what race course did the first
KING COBRA race at!
Good Luck!

Since no has posted an answer yet, it was Parnelli Jones. His first sports car race and win. A King Cobra won giving SA its second consecutive win at LA Times GP.

Ok, my turn to throw a question out there, ready, here it comes....
Shelby entered CSX 2166 in it's first race at Sebring (leafspring, 427 configuration in the prototype class)
The question is, "how many rivets held the scoop on"?
Bill S.

Bill,
Perhaps you mean CSX21 96
The rivet count on that car is important because that is considered the prototype that all correctly mounted hood scoops should use going forward. Right?
