Default New BDR arriving soon

Need some Ohio registration information. I expect delivery of a new BDR #800 in a few weeks and need some guidance in the registration process. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also is it possible to have it registered as a 1965 ?

Default Bill Littleton

If you have not already (you might be buying the car from him), check with GCPC.com, Greater Cincinnati Performance Cars's Bill Littleton, he should be able to point you in the right direction. Welcome to the BDR family. Hope you love yours as much as I do. You can also check http://www.backdraftboys.com/

There are some past threads on this site dealing with Ohio registration. The odds are, if you are not a falling down drunk now...you will be at the end of this process. The process will likely differ from station to station and you can get some information from one station today...wait a week and you will get a very different answer than the one you got last week. If this is a new vehicle, not previously titled in any state, you will first have to get it inspected at a highway patrol station. This is because it is supposedly, a self assembled vehicle. Go to: http://bmv.ohio.gov/salvage_inspection.stm and this should give you some info on getting started with the process. As for getting your BDR titled as a 1965...The official answer is (I'm told) no you can't, but there are dozens of replica cobras titled as 1960's models in Ohio. It just depends on which title office you go to and who you work with. Most people believe there are some advantages to it being titled as a 1965.
