Smile Turned the Key

Well, labor day I finally turned the key to my A & C Chrome Yellow Cobra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pulled the ride out of the garage to popping champagne corks. The sound was marvelous. I've been waiting since last June when I decided to order the kit. I got the okay from the local police dept. to take it out only on the side streets. I had alittle chirping going on with the limited slip 9" rear end. Pulled it back in and added a little of the additive. Still needs more time on it, I think, because it still is chirping sometimes when I take a turn.
I only have a few things yet to do.
I got my recipt from the state in order to make that inspection to get the title. What a nightmare!!! I live in Macedonia, anywhere close Cleveland site or Seville is already booked into mid-october.
I have an appointment in Cortland for Sept. 18th. Where!!!!!!
On the other side of Mosquito Lake. That's an hour and half maybe from here.
I was wondering if anyone in the NOCC has access to a covered trailer that I might borrow or rent. Who knows what the weather will be like. Don't feel like driving with an umbrella, NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
As soon as I get the title and plates I hope to joining all of you here before the snow flies.
If anyone has any suggestions about the trailer, please get back.
Thanks
I,m going to attach a couple of pic's hope it works.
Jim

Wow...Congratulations, your car looks fantastic. You really did a great job. Thats the first yellow cobra I've seen without the stripe. Looks good!

Default HOORAY!

Jim,

When I tell people I'm building an A&C, I get a response similar to sightings of Sasquatch or the Yetty. Everyone knows someone who has seen one, but they've never personally experienced it.

I'm glad you're on the road. I know a drag racer that bought Mr. Gasket's car-hauler when they went belly-up for the 986th time. I'll try to commandeer it for you.

If I can't pry the keys from his hands, would you consider an open trailer, or would a car cover beat the heck out of your nice gel-coat? The open trailer would be an easy grab for you, but may not accomplish what you're after.

I'll keep you posted.
