This is Cool
All,
I'm really pleased to see us talking and planning--This forum is the greatest--I can say, I've met some of the neatest people and had some great times sence the start of this web and club--
It's fun to watch and see what's going on and now we can now get together with our Cobras and cruse---
I'm so happy I don't know if I should or

Ditto on that, Mike!
Was just wondering if you've had any luck getting Brent to change our name to Ohio Cobra Club, and listing it on the Local Clubs section. Might be easier to find there, especially for some of the newer guys to the site.
Took a nice cruise to Polaris yesterday, met up with Alec in his Classic, and Aaron in his SPF. Both are still expressing strong interest in the club. Hopefully, things will continue to come together!
Enjoy the warm weather will it lasts!

Name Changed!
Ok, I see we are now listed as Ohio Cobra Club. Thanks to whoever made the change. Brent, assuming that would be you. Now, if we could get listed under the "Local Clubs" header at the top of the page. Is there something special we need to do to get that?
Steve, how's the new logo coming? How 'bout the rest of the Ohio bunch...been awful quiet lately!
My road is being resurfaced this week, so I am stuck in the garage during this awesome weather....ACK!

Thanks to Brent--we are now listed as the OHIO COBRA CLUB-I did ask him to kist us under "local clubs"--We'll need to wait and see-
Les, Frank and I went to a real nice show in Navarre last week--it was October fest---they had a nice turn out and some really quality cars--Of course the COBRAS stole the show--

Logo
Ran out of free requests. The artwork is more than cut and paste. That would be too logical. The only way to get a sample is to have one stiched. A new logo including the state outline will be $75.
Graphically, my embroidery digitizing friend suggested we modify the current logo. I'm working on a rendering of my own and will post it ASAP.
Let me know the consensus.

Steve,
Given all that, the current logo is fine with me. I liked it immediately...it's classy and simple, and clearly recognizable.
So, the next question is, do we place "Ohio" at the top of the Cobra emblem, and put the chapter on the sleeve, or put the chapter above the emblem, so each group's shirts are different?
Personaly, I like the idea of putting Ohio above the emblem, then putting the chapter on the sleeve, or elsewhere.
Ok, that's my vote!
Thanks again, Steve, for all the work you've done on this. As soon as we decide the style, I'll be ready to order more! I get a lot of compliments on my "Northern" shirt, and wear it a lot.

YUP, I get some nice comments also, I think both would be sharp.
But, I think I agree with Dave--
Steve--
I don't know if this would be an added cost or not--I sure do like the one that's been created--for the Northern group--
But I think in the club's best interest--the one with OHIO on top is better---
Boy, I hope this makes sense-- I haven't even had a beer yet--

State Club Logo
Meeting with embroiderers next week. A seperate "region" name would involve a second step in the embroidering process, but not a drastic one. I'll keep you all posted.
