Default Spring Fling and Cobra update

It appears as though not only will I participate in this years Spring Fling but that I will be doing it in my own Cobra!!!!!

The deal is all but done. I am flying to Phoenix this Friday to check out Randy Resetar's Unique replica of the '67 427 street car. If the car turns out to be all that it appears, come Saturday I will be the proud owner of a Cobra! Check out his car in the 'for sale' section.

If I buy the car we will leave it in Phoenix until March 7 at which time my father and I will fly down and drive the car back to Columbus! What a road trip!

The car is with out heat or a soft top. So I will have Unique ship the soft top kit to Randy and he will have it installed. Vintage air will supply a complete heat and defrost unit for the car and/or Randy and I will put it in.

Does any one know if the original street cars had heater defrost unit and if so what where the installation details? Any pictures?

Wish me luck! And thanks to all of you for helping me learn about Cobras and providing the inspiration!

Big "R",

Congrats fella...may I suggest you wait until June to pick it up!?
Then you can join the huge Cobra Caravan, with Mike, Hersch, Gordan, etc., etc. That is one trip I would love to be on!

Rick,
Congradulations on purchasing your COBRA--now it's your turn to take an unsuspecting future COBRA owner out for a ride--

This years Fling will be one you'll never forget--

Enjoy,
Mike
