Announcing a New Member to the Family!
After 8 months of anticipation, my Lexus Solar Yellow Antique & Collectible body was born on Monday.
Joe, owner of A&C, could only say "HOLY S..... that's a bright color!"
We expect to bring it home for the first time Friday/Monday.
I was fortunate enough to get a revised body (more symmetrical)and sligthly taller hood (for improved clearance).

Come hell or high water, the car will be finished for DVSF II!
The engine runs great.
Because I made all my own brake lines, before putting on the body, I am going to pre-test the brake system to check for leaks.
I am also up for suggestions on whose wiring kit to buy (painless, Ron Francis etc.)
There is no body work required. I only have to hang the doors and do a few cut-outs for the roll bar etc. The hood and trunk come pre-mounted.
I then need to have an exhaust and drive shaft fabricated. I should have the time. I am determined as hell.

Steve,
If you haven't shoosen one yet, we use both Francis and Painless in our cars. (We've tried others two but keep coming back to these)
Only difference I see in either one....buy the one that's on sale!

Steve,
Give me a holler when you get her home. I'd love to swing out to check her out. I'll bring my own pair of sunglasses. Will pick up the shirts then too.

Hey Steve,
Congradulations on the new arrival--let me know when it's all comfy in it's new crib- I'll be up to see it.
All we need now are our new rims---
Remember the fling is right around the corner--you better be done--

I would like to make a appointment also. I sent your brake pedal home with Dean tonight. It is a little closer to home now.

Better Late Than Never
My A&C body is FINALLY here. I personally witnessed this fact earlier this morning!
I am due to pick it up at a fellow Cobra guy's factory in Cleveland today (Wednesday the 6th).
Would it be appropriate to pass out cigars?
Anyone interested in checking it out is welcome.
Admission charge- 1 helpful build tip per customer.
