Reminder-OCC State Meeting

Guys and Gals:
Just a "tickler" to remind y'all of the OCC state meeting on the 19th @ Houlihan'sii i n Columbus. Aaron and I have met and are trying to come up with a firm agenda. Any input out there? Please send anything you want considered to Steve Boardman (wadesdad) or me. Hope to see a lot of you and your cars.

Boy I'd like to be able to make it there guys, but It's a little tough right now as I have a busy wife, and two boys ages 3 and 1. I usually have to stay around the house and help out my wife a little which doesn't leave much time for cobra fun. We do go to the Cobra's in Columbus drive put together by Fred Mazzarini and the Midstates Owners Group every summer as my wife and I have a great time. I'd like to get more involved in activities with the OCC, but it seems most of you are from up north and I just can't get away that long. I'm from Bremen, a small town just 7 miles east of Lancaster. Probably not too many folks below Columbus with Cobra's, however, I did see a Silver one parked downtown Lancaster yesterday afternoon. Haven't a clue who it belongs too. I'm just happy to see another one in the area. Oh yea. For the last two months I've been involed in a heart transplant for my cobra as well as a brake upgrade and engine bay clean up. I will say that last night the 393 dropped in without complaint and the Tremec in now snuggly bolted up tight. Looks like this weekend me and my baby will be back in action. Hope I'm able to see some of you soon. I'll try to see if I can slip away from the house and get to Houlihans for part of the meeting.

Shame, shame! The Club has Cobras from all over the State, with a huge contingency right here in Central Ohio.

Frank: Anything from Jegs?

See you guys soon--maybe I'll even have a Cobra on the road by then!

I will not be able to make it to this meeting--No, I not happy about that, I'm afraid I'll miss something--But the club is in capable hands-- I think you will have a lot to talk about--

I am moving that week and will be unable to attend. I STILL plan on finishing my car for SFII.

It is at noon isn't it?

This past saturday the wheel bearing on the damged spindle finally gave up. I spent part of the week end tearing down the front end. Parts will be here on Wednesday. Car should be ready in time for the meeting. I sure hope the weather is good!

Is anyone from the Lorain, Amherst, Elyria area going to the meeting? I would be willing to drive if anyone needs a ride. My car will hold myself plus 3 others and since my better half isn't going I'll have room for 3. I've been told it's noon.
Can you believe this "sucky weather?" Dian and I were actually planning on driving my DV for the first time in over 19 months! It was to be its second maiden voyage! Oh well.

Does anyone have a LAPTOP with CD capability's? I'd love to show everyone, that hasn't seen it, a short excerpt of last years Fling! It's pretty cool.

Or if anyone has a portable TV with VCR capability's I'll bring the long version. 32 minutes worth.
