John ~ you might want to check with the Windy City Club. Although I do not know what route they are taking, if they bring the Turnpike over, that will get you close to Maumee. The Michigan group is another thought.

On Friday morning;
Group A) We have a group going down 71 South out of the Cleveland area to Columbus.
Group B) A group going 76w out of Akron to 71South - Columbus-
Those two groups are meeting Group C at Rt. 30 and 71 around 9:00am--
Group A can meet Group B at the truck stop at 71/224/76 at 8:15
The south east corner of 71/224/76 is a large truck stop.
A&B can meet group C at the south/East corner--of 30 & 71--
At the closed gas station and motel-at 9:00am ish--
This sounds like a plan--
My cell phone number is 1-330-202-1107
It would be helpful to have other phone numbers--
Mike

WOW Mike, that is a plan !!! I wish that I could meet one of those groups. I love to be involved with multipule timing events (there is a lot of satisfaction when it all comes together). I'll be coming in with the other five Cobras from Arizona sometime on Friday ( depending on the weather). I'm really looking for someone going back from DVSFII to Toledo. See you at the Spring Fling. John

Mike ~ I guess I would be in group "C". Is the gas station you are talking about on the Koogle Road exit off of Rt. 30?? How many cars do we have in the group??

Brian,
I do believe it's Koogle Rd.
I think the station was a Marathon and it's difficult to see from 30. If you are going East on 30 take the first exit ramp after going under 71. It's right there.
It's now closed a filled with EMPTY beer and pop cans.
7 - 10 Cobras for sure---
I think as the FLING gets closer we will have more cars joining us.
See ya in 3 weeks--
Mike

Mike; I'll be coming down 71 from Amherst, lorain, Elyria, Vermilion area and I believe there are several others also. My cell number is 440-223-3179 if you need to get in contact with me. I'll be trailering my snake to keep it warm, bug free and dust free. Doug Isham says I'm a wussss, and should drive it down...oh well. See you and others at 71 and 30 around 9:00 AM friday the 21st. Thanks again for organizing this caravan of serpents.

Panz,
Thanks for responding--this should be fun.
I think a few others will be hauling the snake and can join right in.
Last year it rained in the morning and then cleared up, even with the rain, we had a great time
See ya on the 21st.
Mike
