Default Central Ohio Chapter

I would like to start a regular standing Saturday or Sunday breakfast for the club that afterwards we can make our plans for taking over the world, Or just go for some afternoon drives to Southern Ohio or any other place of interest such as Roscoe Village or the Ice cream factory in (slightly) North eastern Ohio.
The drives are optional (weather permitting) .
So if any one has any ideas for a location that will accomidate 2 to 20 people that has good food ad at least decant service I am
all ears

Aaron

Not sure what location you may be thinking of, but out here in the styx, the Der Dutchman in Plain City(10 min. from Dublin) is an awesome breakfast place, with loads of parking, and plenty of space inside.

Just a thought, if you want to venture out where the air is clean, the roads are empty, and the police are few

Lemme know if I can help.

Der Dutchman is cool! We almost picked them for part of the Fling this year!

Just say when and where!

Default Der Dutchman

Well
Der Dutchman would be fine, it is one of the few breakfast places that you can get in for breakfast . Do you think that Saturday or Sunday is better?and is it 8,9or 10am ?

I vote for 10 on Sunday. The guys closer to Columbus may want a closer meeting place, but the Dutchman is easy to get to.

Sure would be nice if we could get the Ohio group together. I think a trip through Hocking Hills would be great!

Thumbs up

I vote for Sunday as well, 8, 9, or 10, no preferance there. I'm usually up with the roosters anyway. (actually true...the neighboring farm has roosters!)

As far as getting this Ohio group together, I just don't know. It seems everyone is more interested in doing their own thing, which is fine. I probably fall into that group myself. But, I really think we need to decide what direction we want to go. Perhaps just a casual association? Participate when/if you can? Dunno. I'd like to hear everyone's opinions on this.

I vote for the casual laid back thing, but I'm just one vote. My wife and I have two very young boys, so getting away from home is tough, especially if it's very far away. I live on the edge of Hocking Hills. I'd say about 15 miles from Old Man's Cave. This year a fall drive during the leave change would be very appealing to my wife and I. These hot days are really tough driving in my toaster. Well, I better quit babbling. Time for more input from others.

Default Fall Run through the hills

Jim
It's nice to hear from you. I am working out the plans for a couple of fall runs through the hills of Southern Ohio
I am looking at some mid September EARLY October weekends.
I am looking at a couple different routes for the different dates.
several of which would take us through Lancaster . The others go off toward Roscoe Villiage and Newark.
If any one has any input on another favorit routes PLEASE chime in .
Thanks
Aaron
