Yes I know you are talking about the Lexington McD's. Just trying to be a pain! And thank you, I will get my sausage McMuffin with egg!

Frank told me it was rain or shine. Or are you asking about the McD's hookup?
There is a new guy here, BigGuy, that lives up in Hudson Ohio. He has a CSX on order but is currently driving a '67 427 Vette. I mentioned to him about you guys hooking up. If he comes, perhaps he could tag along as well.

By the way guys, there is a restuarant bar around the corner from where we will be called Fitzpatricks. Apparently, the waitresses are fine and they all where those little school girl outfits. Can you say dinner? That should double our turn out!

ALL ---
I'M STILL ON FOR MCD'S AT 8:OOAM----
RAIN OR SHINE??? --- REMEMBER I HAVE NO TOP ---- SO IF IT'S RAINING ????? A FEW RAIN DROPS DO NOT SCARE ME AWAY--HOWEVER, A DOWN POUR DOES--- THIS MAY NEED TO BE A LAST MINUTE DECISION. THE FORECAST IS RAIN LATE SATURDAY ---
SO I'M NOT SURE ABOUT DINNER-- BUT IT DOES SOUND LIKE FUN.
HUDSON IS RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO MY PLACE -- "BIG GUY" CAN GIVE ME A CALL --- IT WOULD BE FUN TO CRUISE ON DOWN TOGETHER---
HOME PHONE -- 1 -330- 334- 6222

Mike...
I'm "light rain" or shine. I do have a top, but if it is an utter downpour, I'm still not interested. The car's been through worse (read "hail, fiberglass, ok" thread) but it's just not that fun *****footing around.
Game time decision is O.K. with me. You can just give me a ring whenever you decide. I will sleep with the cell phone next to the bed.
440-479-6878
I'm really looking forward to the show, just got a new digital camcorder, and the car is itching to get out now that it is a quite reliable driver.
Hope to see you, under heavy cloud cover at worst, on Saturday morning.
PS - Free McD's coffee to everyone you bring with you, Mike! (including you, if you are so inclined)
I just love having Cobras in Lexington.

Hmmm... I did not know that the "p-word" was bad in the context I had typed it.
Hope that doesn't go as a black mark against me.

Hi Frank,
Just finished loading my car in the rain.
We are leaving for Columbus in about 15 minutes.
Just a thought for you. My enclosed traier has a 6 foot wide window in the side. It could be used for the administration work if you want.
Would be a little more substantial in a thunder storm ( I know bite my tounge)
We'll be there by nine.

Forecast clouds for Saturday..... but no rain. We should be in the clear unless the storm poops out on top of us like the day I had the MOCC picnic........

Man Rob! When you come to a cruise in you really come to a cruise in! Thanks for the offer but all I need I can load in the Cobra. Bug splats add charactor. You could always to a bucket job for the heavy bugs and then do a speed shine on the car. I am coming leaking radiator and all! I will not be there until 9:30 or so. My son has a baseball game.
Frank, there is a guy up in Dublin named Chris with a Shell Valley that says he knows you. He is not on the OCC list nor on CC but I made contact with him and he said he is coming as well.
Forecast for tomorrow is Partly Sunny and 84 with a 30% chance of a pop-up afternoon shower. Should be a nice day. Out of towners. If for some reason you get stuck because the weather guy was way off. I don't live all that far and plenty of nice dry garage space!

Mike you will probably not see this, but here it is... See you at 8.
I'll be there. I'm just logging in here to write down your go phone number.
I have no clue how to get to the show. Well, I guess we will figure it out.

Frank, Rick, Rob, Jack, DV, DVJR, DV crew, and mysterious Shell Valley 390 man...
Thanks for a fun day.
Only us... only cobra people... could enjoy standing in the middle of a thunderstorm (under a nice aluminum frame tent with huge bolts of lightning 1/4 mile away) and then make a real afternoon out of a 5 cobra car show.
DV, it was nice to finally meet you in person.
Rick, Frank, Rob, good to see you guys all again. Looking forward to seeing you all (IN THE SUN) at the Fling!
PS... after a few minutes of quietly fearing for my life in the lightning (have had too many hot coil wire experiences to not take electricity seriously) I had completely forgotten about the effects of the sun. I can't even turn my head my neck is so badly sunburned right now. Rob, I vaguely remember seeing you with sunscreen.... I guess you are smarter than me.
JP
PPS - Frank, I'm glad it was you who was in charge. I'd have been hot about the weather, and I'm sure you were, but nobody would've ever known that from talking to you......

Hats off to Frank!
Cobras swept the field taking all 5 trophys!
Folks, I keep thinking about the finances of this event. We had 5 entries @ $8 ea....so the receivables was $40.
However, the DJ was approx $200......so if my math is correct, the event was in the red by about $160.
Frank, along with the work that you put into the event...I certainly hope that you didn't get stuck with the $160 DJ bill. If this is the case,...please let me know as I would like to help out. I would be glad to kick in some extra $ to help offset the losses.
Your work is certainly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Rob

Good job Frank. It is a darn shame about the weather. Like we said, we will pass the hat, just let us know.
You plan another one and we will be there!
Seven Cobra in the pooring rain is a good turn out!
