Central Ohio Cobra Mtg and Cruise (Aug 11)
Here is the final agenda for the Central Ohio get together on the 11th of August.
Meet in Lancaster at the Roosters Restaurant @ noon (12pm).
The restaurant is located right on RT33 (Memorial Drive) on the right hand side of the road. This portion of 33 is a shopping mall, resturant Mecca. Once you pass McDonalds (on the right), the Roosters restaurant is about 2-3 blocks further on the right.
We will discuss the Central Ohio sub-chapter concept and then head out to Hocking Hills for a cruise.
I'll be traveling for the next two weeks, but I can be reached by the following e-mail: bob.cleland@afmetcal.af.mil. If there is anything you need (directions or just cobra talk), just e-mail me.
Hope to see you there.

Hey BC,
Just found out I have family coming in from Texas that weekend, so I won't be able to make the cruise.
Maybe we could try another one near the end of the month, before the Sept. meeting?
Hope everyone has a good(and safe) cruise!

Bob:
Don't know if you got my original response. I live in Columbus. I'm very familiar with the Hocking Hills. We go to a neat retreat/resort Called Glenlaurel every once in a while. Looking forward to meeting you, seeing your car and the meeting and cruise.

Sorry you can't make it on the criuse. I'm sure you'll have a great time w/your family.
Judy and I are in Macon Ga today. Enjoying some much needed time off. Although Monday I'll be at Robins AFB for a week, we had a great time traveling this week. We have taken our time getting here and stopping when we wanted. No SCHEDULES!
I'll be ready for the criuse come the 11th. 2 weeks w/o driving the Cobra when I know the weather is good.
If there are any other central Ohio folks who will be able to join Frank and I, let us know.

BC,
I just pulled the heart out of the my DV, and have it torn down. If Viper can get me the necessary parts and I have time to get it together, count on us!

Just wanted everyone to know that Frank and I met at Roosters for the cruise. Frank, great to have met you and your friend. Hopefully we can do it again soon. Discussed some issues wrt the Central Ohio Chapter, but will re-address during Ohio Chapter meeting at Daves next month.
Weather for the cruise was great and the senery was also beautiful. Judy and I will take the cruise again in the fall when te leaves changes colors.

Hey BC, glad you and Frank got to cruise! I was asking how it went in another thread...not sure which one. Can't keep track of them all!
The weather sure was nice. I was thinking about you guys as I was taking my 6 yr. old niece for a short ride.(yeah, she loves my Cobra, but holds her ears the whole time!!)
I definately want to get down there(Hocking Hills) at least once this fall. That place is spectacular about mid-October. Maybe we can plan another cruise at around such a time. Hopefully, we'll have the Central chapter somewhat organized by then.
See you soon!
