This a great way to kick off the "Week of Remembrance" to commemorate the 10th. Anniversary of the attacks of Sept. 11.
The ‘Wheels of Freedom’ car show will coincide with Union AFJROTC Week of Remembrance.
The Union Public Schools Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is sponsoring the “Wheels of Freedom” Car Show Saturday, September 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Union 6th/7th Grade Center, 10100 E. 61st, (U.S. 169 and 61st Street.)
The car show, which is also being sponsored by “Vettes 4 Vets,” will jump start Union AFJROTC’s “Week of Remembrance” September 11-18, featuring the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall at Central Park at Union as part of the 10-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11.
The car show will feature classic autos and more; proceeds from the show will help support the “Week of Remembrance” fund.
