Looks lilke a tri-Y header system. When I was looking for under-the-car headers for my car, someone contacted me with a set of "original" under-the-car headers for a 427 cobra he once owned. He sent me pictures, and they were a tri-Y set-up as well. Space is a premium. I have 4 into 1 under the car headers like a traditional header.

Leave it to Professor Richards to provide...he was crawling all over this car (and the entire Miller collection) at SAAC 31.
Like a little kid in a candy shop.
You need to bring supplies with you Ron!!!!

nice photo of the headers
Hello, go to the cobra restorers web site and there is a photo of the entire exhaust system assembled off the car. They are a big Y set up, two pipes drop down into one and that is what you see coming out from under the rocker panel. We had a set on 2498 but there was no easy way to get a muffler on there and make it look good, so we went back to a under car exhaust that exits in front of the rear tires.
regards, karl
