From notes:
Large fitting on the drivers side goes to the rear vent tube on the intake manifold.
Small fitting on the drivers side goes to the transmission/diff vent.
Large fitting on the passenger side goes to the large fitting on the passenger side-front of the Aviad oil pan.
Small fitting on the passenger side goes straight down and acts as a road
draft/overflow tube.

To expand what Ron posted, the large fitting on the passenger side goes straight out toward the voltage regulator, curves forward and downward along the square frame tube along the inner fender panel to eventually curve downward and back toward the oil pan near the alternator to the large fitting on the passenger side front of the Aviaid pan. I have yet to see a pic from an original S/C that shows this clearly, but it definitely does not go behind/below the headers, past the starter and along the block to the pan.

That's what I used. It came in a kit I purchased that included the puke tank, fitting on the intake, etc.
It seems strange to me that they used clear tubing - maybe to be able to visually monitor any fluid movement? Seems like they would have used black rubber hose. I'm unsure on the originality of the clear hose. As I said, I'm still looking for period photos that show this.

OK, need some clarification here,
My can has a large fitting on the top of the passenger side that curves down, I assume this is the draft tube?
I don't have another fitting on the passenger side, but I do have one on the bottom of the tank on the passenger side that points straight down, is this the one that curves out behind the volt regulator and then to the Avaid pan?

Yes, the top fitting on the pass side is the road draft tube. The bottom fitting you have apparently differs from mine, but on mine that's the tube that goes to the oil pan.

Is that correct for ALL fittings on the vapour tank - I thought the hose from vapour tank to inlet manifild was black rubber?
couple of other pedant points id be grateful on:
- what are the correct fittings on the hose? I dont think circlips are correct? but dont know what/wear to get correct types.
- should inlet manifold flange (to vapor tank) be straight out or angled?
cheers, kevin

But Ron, most SC cars supposedly didn't come with Aviaid pans...
