Dan,

Great job on putting together such authentic components!

It appears your DB-10 is marked LUCAS, much more "original" than those seen more often. Is it NOS, refinished or reproduction?

Steve

It is OEM but not NOS. I think the date on it is 1962??. It was real tarnished when I got it and I cleaned it up a little.

Hey Dan looking good, great progress. I would ditch the rosey red heim joint and the billet arm. I have the original style throttle arms and can make them any length you need. Let me know if I can help more.

Steve

Where did you get those gold/zinc wire ties that attach to the firewall? I am looking for those.

Those appear to be aluminum AN clamps (cad/zinc coating):

Aircraft Spruce is a great source for them, plus you can buy in small quantities:

Great job with the firewall by the way! I was planning the exact same thing for my FFR, and you set the bar SUPER high! Kudos.
