Default Demister location (measurement) defrost vent

Looking for the placement for the origional style vents.

I know that they are butted right up against the glass (or as close as you can get), but how far apart are they and are they centered on the body?

The ERA striped diagram shows them 1/2 in and 1/2 out of the stripe. The origional car that I took pictures of didn't have stripes so I dont have a visual refrence there..... It does appear that the wipers may be centered on each vent Is that correct? Although that doesn't help me much either as I haven't cut my wiper holes yet, but it is good future refrence to help me locate those holes as well.

Anyone know a measurement?

Ugh, thanks Ron, Way to throw a wrench into my plans..... LOL

Actually that's just one less slot to locate and cut out! Yet, living in Michigan this might be one of those compromises on origionality........

Then why does the SC dash have a hole for the hearter rheostat?

Did the S/C and/or comp have wipers at least?

The only rheostat on the Comp dash is Panel Light dimmer.

Yes, there were wipers
