Thumbs up contemporary engine and trunk aluminum

hey all does anyone still make kits for aluminum engine compartment and trunk kits for contemporary....or advice thanks for all the info this fourm provides:

I believe they are still available and come up for sale on e-bay but are very pricey.
I would make posterboard patterns and fit them to the car. Once they're all made I would replicate them in ally. Then polish or scotchbrite to taste and install. The welded together ones I've seen are very nice but that's some serious work to put together and bench off.

do you just pop rivet the sections together and on top of the glass panels?
it has a aluminum firewall ,but all the rest is glass painted silver ,fake aluminum lol

Yes that would work fine. Pop riveting into fibreglass it's a good idea to put a washer on the expanding end to stop it cracking and pulling through the glass. The other thing that's real handy for the cardboard patterns and the aluminum is clecos.
