Right here: Sun used to be the most popular in the 60's

after digging thru my junk I found an old SW tach and Rick is correct. SW had a full face. Of course I had not seen it in 30 years so my memory is fading fast.............

This is the Sun tach, used on comp cars. They also used Rotunda style as well. SW was stock unit.......

Thanks for the input, guys. Another thing I've noticed is there seems to be a mix of Smiths and Stewart Warner gauges. This is a picture of the dash from CSX2136. It has the same Sunpro tach but also mixes Smiths and Stewart Gauges. It's using a SW gauge for what appears to be fuel pressure.

Was there a reason for this other than "that's the way it was"? Between those 2 Lemans cars, the dash configuration is the same with the different brands.

Thanks.

That tach, may be made by SUN but it was sold over the counter as a Rotunda -- ask your vintage mustang friends about "Rotunda" stuff.

I have seen Rotunda tachs in several 289s' not sure why, they had access to other tachs.
