Really? How about a picture, please. I'm trying to envision a Fillister head sticking out of the windscreen frame (through the bracket). Don't ever recall seeing one like that, but then again you own an original.

Rick, as far as sources, lucking out with a local industrial hardware supplier that keeps them in stock is your best bet. Start Googling! McFadden-Dale in So Cal stocks them.

Just fyi from the Brit point of view, the screws Asnake is talking about that fix the frame to the screen are not what we call filisters. They are 'raised countersunk slotted', readily available in stainless steel. Filisters are correct, as he says, for the wind wings.

Damn.... I spent ages finding some slot heads for my shifter ring, and then more time polishing them up

what about the kick-strip (dont know what its really called) thats round the bottom of edge of the door apertures that grips the carpet there...... please dont say its Phillips.
