Default 289 Street Car surge tank source?

Has anyone got a source for the black surge tank used on the street cars? It looks like an early Lincoln surge tank, but the hose connections are all wrong.

Finish Line also has them, and they're on sale for $299.

The Finishline piece is a "conversion" expansion tank so that a small-block installation looks semi-appropriate for a 427 body. The correct expansion tank for a street 289 looks like this. I hear rumors that Mickmate is working on a reproduction.

Hey John, do you have any pics of what you did for the bracket and how you made it?
It's nice job!

It was made from a 1961 Lincoln 430 motor. Had to remove and close off the stock necks, reconfigure the mounting bracket and solder on new fittings. The hardest part was finding one. Sorry no pictures.

The Lincoln tank is close but the filler neck isn't oriented correctly. The ears on the cap should be crossways to the engine center line when closed.
Looking forward to seeing one of Chucks tanks.

I have a lincoln tank enroute to me now. I will modify it rather than buying a new one. The orientation of the filler neck is super simple.

Here's a couple pics of an original MKII recovery tank. Unfortunately, someone has modified this tank by cutting off the lower part of the mounting bracket and changing the side tube hose flange. Don't know why but it is what it is. Look close and you'll notice that the tank has not been punched for a radiator hose fitting as it would have been on a Lincoln. I believe that the tanks were made for Cobra's and not just a modified Lincoln tank.

Note the orientation of the cap flange. Also, on some of the reproduction tanks for the Lincoln, I notice that the indentation on top of the tank where the cap flange solders on is square while this one is curved. The original Lincoln tanks that I've seen are also curved.
