Default Original trunk lid prop

What did the original 427 Street Roadsters use as a trunk lid prop?

Period pics aren't all that clear. The Bruce Canepa restoration of CSX 3360 shows a partial pic which seems to be a rod with a pivot/hinge in the middle which would fold?

Some pics show the sliding type which is sold by most vendors.

Some early pics seem to show a simple straight rod.

Whatever the prop rod, was it painted black?

Cheers
Greg

Siver CAD plated but the correct length and automatic type, as in you don't have to release the catch with your thumb you just lift it a second time to release.
