Weber Carbs and Air Injection pumps.
Without being too “cloak and dagger” about why I’m asking, I’d like to put together a dossier on two subjects, and would appreciate any information (direct links, copies, faxes or simply references…but no “my brother remembers back in the day…”responses) concerning the two questions posed below. Feel free to post your info here, email or PM me.
Question #1.
Did FORD (or any subsidiary) sell any products for use on public roads between the years 1963 and 1966 that came equipped with Weber Carbs. This can include Cobras, GT40s or any regular or potential passenger car. Can you demonstrate that any of these were registered in California during that period?
Question #2.
Did FORD (or any subsidiary) sell any products for use on public roads during the year 1966 that came NOT equipped with an AIR INJECTION PUMP (smog pump). This can include Cobras, GT40s or any regular or potential passenger car. Can you demonstrate that any of these were registered in California during that period?
I would appreciate any assistance anyone can give, but I don't want to go into exactly why I'm asking, and would request that posters refrain from speculating on my intentions. I don't think it would be helpful.
