Default Csx 4029

Hi Guys,
I looking into buying this car but there is no documentation if it is a original CSX4029. The only thing is the Title and it mentions Ford.
Any help is welcome.

thanks

Can you post some pictures? Engine compartment, firewall, trunk, body, wheels, etc?

Bart: It looks to be a 4000 series continuation Shelby car, but it is not an "original" shelby car, if that is what the seller is claiming.

Registry shows it was completed 10/25/98 at HRE in freeport NY. Was sold to someone in Pa., who sold it in 2005.

Thanks, yes i know it is a continuation not the real thing. Would be a great price
But just thought that shelby would deliver some kind of written certification on the CSX 4xxx series.

This car has been perpetually for sale. I've seen it at auctions, at shows, ebay, and classifieds:

1965 Shelby CSX for sale | Hemmings Motor News

At one point the seller was marketing it with an aluminum body

Which is surrendered to the DMV when you get your first title. A MSO is "title #0". Every time you re-title a car you give the signed over title and get a new one, else there would be untold number of titles floating out there.

Yes, but who wouldn't keep a copy of the MSO for a CSX?

It's listed at $104,500 USD at LBI Limited in Philadelphia: https://www.lbilimited.com/wp_car_de...-continuation/

And Cashburn is right. CSX4092 has been for sale on-and-off forever. I wonder what it is about some cars, that they never seem able to find a good home.

Hi All

Thanks for all the feedback, but just got the message from Belgian cutoms that they will not accept a CSX4xxx as a 1965 car, so this means it is a new car which destroys all the value. They only accept the real thing as a 1965.

I sold a car to Belgium. I believe they required paperwork and documentation showing the car had been titled, registered, inspected over 30 years ago.

Yep, they want to see that the car was titled in 1965 for it to be a 1965.
A few years ago they still accepted a CSX4xxx but not anymore. Too much other replicas come over to Europe as classic cars.
