Default Leveroll knobs

Can anyone provide some photos of Leveroll knobs in original cars, I am making this modification and would like to see the angle of the seat adjustment arms.
Thanks in advance of the photos.
Bob

Hi Bob,

I don't know why I can't figure out how to copy and paste a link on this forum, but anyway, if you do a search within this thread (just type in Leveroll), you will find some pictures of the knobs,

The making of a 427 Narrow Hip Cobra starts now!!

This is from the "Narrow Hip" thread and look very good. On an original car, the seat tracks are mirror images of each other, so the knob/handle would be on opposite sides but this is well done.

Jeff and everyone,
Thanks for the photos... that's just what I was looking for. I have a few parts to get and it's a done deal. Thanks again.

Are the Leveroll knobs reproduced and available anywhere yet?

I have the Leveroll logo "labels" that attach to the end of the knobs.

Great pics of the assy.

Cheers

Greg,

Contact Metal-Morphous on this site and take a look at the thread entitled: The making of a 427 Narrow Hip Cobra starts now!! He is producing them, the photo on link #3 is from that thread.

I have also tried contacting rr64 (Dan - CSX2310?) on the SAAC forum as he posted back in Sept 2010 that he had detailed/dimensioned drawings of the Leveroll seat knobs.

Perhaps these drawings and a desktop 3D printed would solve our supply problems.

Cheers

I have the drawings Dan made and we are currently looking at making a new master and molding some knobs. Currently waiting on a price for the master. We were going to just do a couple sets for our own cars but might be able to make a few extras. I'll know more once some costs come back.

Thanks for the update Larry. If you're making some extras I hope I can get on your wait list.

You can actually still by the knob and Leveroll motif directly from Aston Martin:

Wow, never knew they reproduced the knob! However, if it looks like the one in their photo, it's not very accurate to the original. The base is not shaped like theirs at all.

You are right Larry. The "originals" seem to be more rounded or chamfered as the flutes approach the threaded end.

Here's a side by side (best I could do). Patina'd knob is an "original" off the SAAC forum and the black one is off the Aston Martin website.

Yup. Subtle differences.
