Water Pump, Balancer, & Pulleys?
In reference to this originality forum. I am rebuilding my 427 fe side oiler. What is an appropriate combination for a water pump, harmonic balancer, and pulley setup, that will line up right? This car will see less than 300 miles in a year.
Thank You, Tom |
I am also looking to add original style pulleys to my 427 so any Ford P/N's would be greatly appreciated. Barry R. build my engine and he used the BB Chevy style damper so I have asked him what pulley I should be using on my damper. It will need to be slightly modified to fit the Chevy bolt pattern.
It appears that for the water pump, a +/- 6" pulley is appropriate. I am looking at Ford P/N's C6OZ-8509-A and C5AZ-8509-J but I have not been able to confirm that these are the correct P/N's. I haven't started to research the alternator pulley yet... |
