Default 289 FIA Measures...

Would anyone know the correctish dimensions for the front and rear widths of a factory 289 FIA lip to lip? I know there were several non factory mod. cars to meet spec, but was there a set guideline??

Also, did the 289 and 427 share the same bumper set or was the 289 narrow in comparison? I ask because the mounting holes on the chassis are closer together on the 289. Front and rear.

Thank you,
Mike.

#16 above is a "recreation" of CSX2259 pre-Sebring (1964). In the SAAC Registry the "FIA" or "USRRC" Cobras as being shipped were listed as being delivered with "wide rear wings" but no reference was made to the front arches so I would think that the front arches were standard street arches that were modified by the individual crews that were assigned to them, as were the oil cooler scoops. If you "study" the photos of 2259 & 2260 in 1964 Sebring photos you can see hints of the original body lines before the flare job. CSX2345 (#21) would be a good "study" for flare dimensions.
