Note that those are "bolt-ons" and not pin drive KOs.

If you want bolt-on, the Rockets are nice looking.

If you want the (almost) real deal, Gary Kumerow makes reproduction sunburst pin drives. I have a set and they are outstanding quality.

Here's a couple pictures of them on my BRG 427 car. Pardon the height in the front end, has since been brought to the proper stance. I believe Rocket to make a quality wheel, for reasonable price.

Get yourself a set of black, spline-drive 'tuner' lug nuts to go with the Rocket Sunburst wheels and you're set.

@ Cycleguy55, that's just what they came with ( black tuners lug-nuts ). You have get up close and personal to see the lugs. Couldn't be happier with the off-set, 7/8" in the rear, just enough, to bring the rear's out to the edge of the fender. Fit & Finish second to none. Balancing the wheel's were 3/4oz. to 1 1/4oz, for all 4, so I would say a well made wheel. And 1795 I'm not getting any cut, for selling these wheel's

Maybe Rocket Racing will see this post and send me a check

Nice looking car and wheels. It's tempting to try those on my Street ERA, since I have 5-pin adaptors on my Vintage KOs. I would have to check the back space closely to see if one of the 8 inchers would clear my exhaust in the rear wheel wells.

I had a bunch of email correspondence with the owner of Rocket Racing trying, a year or so ago, to talk him into providing some wider versions since most of us run 295 or better rear tires, but the final outcome was that he did not think it would be worth it to him for such a small group of possible customers (which I believe, as a business owner, is probably correct).

Could probably get a set of 295's mounted on an 8" wheel, but not sure how comfortable I am with that...

I just looked at 4 295/50R15 tires on 1010 Tires ( 295/50R15 Tires | 295-50-15 Tire Size Online at 1010Tires.com ) and they all show minimum rim width as 8". So, yes you can - but it may not be optimal.

As my car was going to be a 427 street car, width was never really a problem. But I too talked with the Rocket Racing people about the possibility of 9", 9.5" or even 10.5". They too thought these being a street 427 wheel (and the real ones were 7") going any wider, would no be in character with the org. ones. I thought of going with the standard (now a days) 295-50-15 ,but keeping in character (again) of the org. car stayed with the 60 series look (stance) 275-60-15. And with a 295 on a min of 8" wheel the tire may not sit flat on the ground. Plus as we know, anything over 500HP, the difference between 295 and 275 both tire's will go up in smoke

This is too interesting to let it just drop.

- Alpha 02, what size tires are you running on those wheels on your car above? For some reason, my tires are going to require replacing soon, so I may consider going to these wheels for my spare set and going to 275 tires just for these.

Hi Bob, considering what I wanted in look, and ride. My final goal has been reached, with both front and rear (15"x 8") with the rear's being off-set to the max. they allow which is 7/8" and the front standard off-set. I also went with the angled rear knock-offs, and the front's being the flat ones, makes the rears look wider. Now with the tires (Limited tire sizes, and no BFG's, Thank you) I went with Mickey Thomson ST, 275-60-15 rear, 235-60-15 front. I also considered, the way DanEC went ( I think? ) with 215-70-15 front. Correct me Dan if I'm wrong. Beautiful car by the way. I hope that help's Bob, Thanks Tom.

Thanks. Yes, that's correct. 215/70-15 front and 255/60-15 rear to clear my exhaust and fill the wheel well.

I can't take all the credit for having these Sunbrusts on my car,(Brought them Sep 2016) my good friend ( moore rb ) had them on his car, that year. You may want to ask him more question's, as he drove his car with these wheels. and mine's not finished yet. I do know we had the only 2-sets out there when I brought mine. A quick question to DanEC? What tires are you using?? A quick add to this post, I believe Rob (moore rb) had 295-50-15 (rears) Cooper Cobra's on these 8' rim's, Rob you want to chime in on this info?

They are Mickey Thompson S/T tires with lettering to the inside.

Thank you Dan, same as mine just different sizes, with of course the white lettering on the inside too. Are you completely happy with your choice? I brought my set to just drive on the street with maybe a auto-x or two thrown in just for fun. I'm a little concerned about them (Thread wear 400) about picking up rocks into the inner fenders (Star cracks) when warm. Also what do you have for inner fender coating? Thank you again for any info. Tom

I'm very happy with the Mickey Thompson S/Ts. I believe they are the same as the Cooper Cobras. I will admit that I haven't pushed my car hard so others may have to vouch for their track or autocross abilities. Because of owning a set I tend to pick up on forum threads where they come up and I don't recall ever reading any negative comment about them.

ERA lines the underside of the top of fenders with coremat which is kind of like a 1/4 inch or so thick, dense woven material - not unlike a thick piece of fiberglass mat. It's rolled in with fiberglass resin. But it will absorb impact. Over that I applied bedliner material. The coremat apparently works very well as star cracks on ERAs is just unheard of.
