Default 1965 Cobra 427 dual quad fuel lines

I saw a Hot Rod magazine GT500 dual quad rebuild article that said the two black rubber fuel lines that went from the fuel log to the carbs were specially molded in a curved shape, not straight hose that was bent.

Can anyone:
1) verify if these curved hoses were used on the Cobra 427 dual quads

2) what were the Ford part numbers

3) are these hoses currently available and from what source.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers
Greg

1967-73 Mustang Shelby 3/8" Fuel Hose & Clamp Kit

Or, buy 3/8" hose at Pep Boys, Autozone, etc. It will be cut from a reel of hose, and that hose has coiled "memory".

Ha! You got that right. Seems like every time I bought some hose is was the last couple feet of the roll. Straightening the hose would flatten it more!

Thanks guys.

HTM101: Thats similar to the kit I'm using now with the "GAS" printed fuel line except I used the original (earlier) style crimp on clamps.

Been on the car for years with no problems.

Was just curious what the Ford part numbers might have been for the "molded curved" ones.

Cheers

From my memory, that is a false statement, just regular 3/8 fuel line.

Remember who said it, Hot Rod magazine, since when have they ever gotten anything correct about Ford, just a bunch of whooey!

I’m no expert on coil spring cars but those hoses are so short, I’d think they weren’t preformed pieces. Rear one is probably slightly longer but just fuel line beyond that.
