I think you're asking 2 different questions.
From my memolry, There were 1 or 2 small block chassis that had FE's transplanted in them. Maybe this is the prototype ?
The 427 chassis I believe was the first automotive chassis ever designed on a computer (Ford). The first completed 427 car was CSX3002, which had a partial 289 body, as I belioeve the 427 body was not ready yet.
