Quilted jacket information

Interested in finding out the history of the off white Shelby coats. I purchased one of the coats made by ‘Martin of California ‘ today. The coat is quilted white with a blue liner and white hood behind a zipper in the neck area. The coat does have the ford patch on the left arm , and twin blue stripes on each arm , but no Shelby patch on the right chest. Any information would be helpful.

I’m not sure about the lack of the Shelby patch, but it seems you have the right manufacturer as Bonham’s had one for auction at some point: https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/24143/lot/6/

I swear I saw somewhere on the Internet recently that one of the original team jackets sold for $11,000 but of course I can’t find anything about it now.
