Anything is possible Jeff, probable may be a different story. You would not be suggesting that someone would add a marking to a frame where one did not previously exist.......

How is the weather where you are at? We have only received about 4-5" so far, with snow predicted straight through tomorrow afternoon. Don't hurt yourself clearing it away. I was texting with Georgie and he said that the last snowfall dumped 30" on him.

Amazing story to peruse while watching the snow fall....

Thanks to posts like this, I now know something about CSX3063. While certainly not everything, but enough to be disturbed by it.

Even with the pictures, which are great by the way. I still struggle to "piece" it all together - see what I did there?

Entertaining and informative. Thanks to Jeff and all here for yet another great post.

Jim,

The deeper the snow, the more traction you have in the Cobra.

This just from personal experience getting caught in an unexpected snow squall after allowing my car to be used in a club meeting back in the early 2K's while still in NJ.

Took two days for the car to defrost in the garage, took me three

Teaser..........

This is what it started as, then somehow became the last S/C?

Interesting to say the least.....
Best part is that the story had already had rumors it was in Belgium getting fit to be a 427. Car went missing way back then and still made it to California to be reconstructed yet again with no #'s to substantiate claims.

Too bad the Ghia did not remain as it could have been a real piece of history.
This story reminds me of the first ElCamino 4x4 I saw, was it an ElCamino or was it a C10? If this stories logic was applied the ElCamino was really an all original C10.

Bill,

I remember the ride back from your place in PA with ERA 714. Towards the end of the trip home it started snowing with about 2 hour to go. I was bundled up and this was pre-heater install. People driving near me were looking with awe at this fool in an open car driving in the midst of a snow storm.

Bill,

I was going back and forth between 714 and 717 and figured that you would set me straight if I had the number wrong.
