"Coil-over" implies only one thing: That the coil is concentric to the damper.

According to the original Driver's Handbook, the original (Armstrong?) 427 factory dampers did not have a height or damping adjustment. It's probable that the optional Konis that were used on the Comp cars were adjustable.

Do you have a picture available of the front of the suspension, looking aft, that shows the adjustability?
