Default Original Radio...

Hey all,

anyone know which model of radio you would have found in an original 289 back in the 60's?

Also were the same model of radio used in sedans/wagons etc?

Thanks

Even though this tread deals with the COB and COX Cobra's, it also has some good info on CSX small blocks. Pay particular attention to Dan Case's post! Cheers, Dennis Period Radios..

Finding examples with the correct knobs are tough. The thread referenced above has examples with the correct knobs.

This one on eBay could be cleaned up with the correct Cobra glass (easy to make) to fool most folks. Some of the cobra parts dealers sell the surround piece.

What's the ancient saying? Sit down, fasten your seatbelt, shut up, listen to the engine! Cheers, Dennis
