I am in the early stages of deciding to build a Cobra and I would like it to at least represent a "could have been ordered" car even if not an exact replica of a specific car.
On the flip side, did any street cars have a comp dash, side pipes and roll bar at least installed by the dealer if not from the factory?
Thank you all VERY MUCH in advance!

The S/Cs were leftover Comp cars and as such, came from AC with quickjacks. I am sure you could have ordered bumpers if you wanted... Many original S/Cs, in pictures from the 70's, have the overriders and hoop bumpers replacing the quickjacks.
Street cars would not have come with comp dash layouts. Many street cars have been "S/C-ized" over the years with side pipes and roll bars...
..I am not aware of any cars that were outfitted that way as new, from the dealer... but I wouldn't be surprised to find one.
