289 slabside dash
Anyone able to help me with what car/pickup the dash warning lights came out of for both lucas and ford electrical models?I see on the English versions (Lucas) that the tr3 light was used for ignition but the indicators look the same but smaller. On the Ford set up a pickup/car from the 50`s/60`s was used and it has a huge bezel. Indicators and high beam are common for both.

The large light was used on Ford C series cab over trucks from the early 60's and I think Falcon or Fairlane and some pickups too, all with generator. It was located near the key to the left of the dash.

Thanks Rick, even armed with this information not one aftermarket source ie greensales, carpenter etc can find it or help me.Someone came up with this part no.
c1tz10a937a.but thats no longer available. I have also heard that the big bezel was unique to the cobras?
Indicator warning lights? I thought possibly MG ?

The big bezel was OEM Ford. Find someplace or someone that has early 60's cars that are being pieced out. It won't be found as an aftermarket item. Maybe contact an obsolete ford parts seller? You might get lucky.

I don't know how close you are to Ohio, but if you could make it to the Fall Ford Swap in Columbus, you might hit pay dirt. It is usually held the weekend after Thanksgiving, the only part I don't like about it.

Thanks Fritz,
I`ll try Steve tomorrow or Monday,Tho` I`m not seeing it on his website. The Lucas copies may be correct, if the hole size is small enough, for the indicators. Heres hoping!
Jon,
I`m reproducing the Fia first and then later both slabside and 39ph if things work out.I know the fia`s did`nt have but am trying to find the correct one for the Ford wired 289`s so as to either find a supplier or remanufacture. Also some of our fia`s might need.If you have the correct one I`m interested in buying or borrowing for measurements. If you need to know more search "Riverside" If you mail me I can send a pic of what I want.Regards
Ross.
