Default Front Wheel Arch Vents

Hi,
Does anyone have any pistures of the vent grills in the rear of the front inner wheel arches on the original S/C Cobras?
Thanks,
Paul

I saw this on the ERA site. I don't know just how accurate it is compared to an original S/C but thought it might help.

That's a terrible shot! Here's what my wheel well vent looks like on my ERA. I don't know how accurate it is to the originals.

Maybe a daft question, but what was the purpose of the vents? Cooling of area in front of driver's footbox to keep footwell temps down, or was there some other overheating issues in the engine bay?

That black tube at the top of my picture brings fresh air from the front of the car to the driver's footbox. The mesh vent behind the tire allows cooler air to pass over the hot primary pipes and then out the louvers on the fender well.
